Prieston Technologies began in 2022 as the technological initiative of the Prieston Business Group — a family of businesses with deep roots in Kilkis, Greece, and nearly half a century of building things that last. Where the Group's construction arm shapes the physical world, Prieston Technologies shapes how that world is mapped, understood, and experienced digitally.
Our foundation is geospatial intelligence: scalable, cloud-based Web GIS platforms built on open standards (OGC, WFS), modern web architecture (Next.js, OpenLayers), and robust spatial databases (PostgreSQL / PostGIS). On top of that foundation we layer immersive technology — WebXR, 3D visualization, and spatial computing that turn flat maps and datasets into interactive, navigable, location-aware experiences accessible from any device.
Now we are opening a third frontier: Robotics & AI. Geospatial data is no longer something only humans collect and read. Drones, sensors, and autonomous systems now capture the world continuously, and AI interprets it at a scale no team could match.
We are investing in this convergence — uniting robotic data capture, AI-driven spatial analysis, and immersive visualization into a single intelligent loop, from the physical environment to the digital twin and back. We work closely with leading universities and research institutions, keeping us at the edge of geospatial science, mixed reality, and the emerging geospatial metaverse. We don't just apply technology — we help define it.

Extensive experience building interactive mapping platforms, scalable web applications, and cloud-based geospatial services — emphasizing scalability, performance, and future-proof architecture.
Efstathios Papadopoulos
Lead Geospatial Engineer — CAD, Digital Cartography, Geospatial Data
Civil Engineer; BSc from the University of Central Florida, MSc from the University of Cyprus. Specializes in CAD design and geospatial data structuring, creating web-accessible maps using WFS services under OGC standards. Contributes high-quality, structured, accessible spatial data for web platforms.
